  1. Call to Order
    The meeting was called to order at 6:03 pm by Chair Jarret Phillips.

    1. Fund Balances

    2. Budget Performance/Amendments/Adjustments

      Budget is recorded in internal QuickBooks accounting to present at meetings.  Adjustments may be made by Chief Doonan.

  4. Consent Agenda
    1. Approval of Minutes - July 30

    2. Approve Financial Report

    Vice-Chair Matt Yount motioned to approve. Commissioner Jennifer Oakes seconded the motion.

    The motion passed with the following vote:

  5. Music Festival

    Board discussion on food and craft vendors for event.  Stage is secure for event; Danny Eder will haul Saturday morning. Renae reported that everything else is in place, permits etc.  So far 9 vendors are signed up.  The Reader is advertising for the event and local radio stations. We got permission to hang a banner at See Vee and 395 fire station. The event is all mapped out, alcohol will be sold by the volunteer association, with multiple vendors donating the wine and beer.  Mule Days donated a pallet of water.  Chief Doonan went over the brochure that will be at the merchandise booth for recruitment.  More interest on Facebook for the event.  Merchandise includes, hats, mugs, souvenir beer cups, t-shirts and blankets.  There are 5 sponsors for a total of $ 3000.  We will meet again right before to discuss any outstanding items. The intention of this event is community outreach and exposure.

  8. AFG Vehicle Replacement Grant 

    No word from AFG about the grants.  No awards have been given.

  9. Future Agenda Items

    Building mitigation fees. District determines what needs to be done.

    1. Chief Doonan

      Calls:  Lightening strike fire in Hammil, medical calls, vehicle calls

    2. Facilities Manager - Renae Kaiser

      No report

    3. EMS Captain - Matt Doonan

      Moving forward with EMT class in October, week one to February.  So far 12-15 people are interested. Two days a week, 4 hours per session, possibly Monday and Tuesday in the evenings, 5:30-9:30.  Zoom will be available for those who need it.  

    4. Training Coordinator - James Janney

      Starting up with training on Thursdays starting Aug 21st. after taking a short break.  MES came to perform the annual pack flow testing.  Just some small repairs needed.
