The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Mayor Iva Walton.Interim City Manager Jon Kennedy, Finance Director Jessica Bigby, City Attorney Rebekah Mojica (ZOOM), Deputy City Clerk Nate Anderson

Public Comments
· Delta Fire District funded meals at local businesses during events.
· Isleton Fire Department increased weekend staffing due to traffic from:
o Antioch Bridge congestion
o Rio Vista Bridge closure
· Speaker and spouse have long-term involvement with local fire departments.
· Positive collaboration between Isleton and Rio Vista fire crews.
· Speaker praised Isleton Fire Department’s professionalism and community service.

PUBLIC HEARING - Adoption of Resolution 06-25 approving delinquent Cal Waste charges for the 2024/25 Fiscal Year and authorizing the Deputy City Clerk to File Same with the County Auditor
Public Hearing opened at 6:35 PM. No comments during public hearing.
· Cal Waste submits a yearly list of unpaid accounts to the city.
· The city forwards these to the county; unpaid charges are added as property tax penalties.
· A public hearing was held; no public comments were received.
· Council approved Resolution 6-25, authorizing the clerk to file with the county.
Councilmember Aleida Suarez motioned to approve. Councilmember Pamela Bulahan seconded the motion.

PUBLIC HEARING - Adoption of Resolution 07-25 approving delinquent Sewer charges for the 2024/25 Fiscal Year and authorizing the Deputy City Clerk to File Same with the County Auditor
Public Hearing opened at 6:48 PM . Closed and no public comments.
· Public hearing held for Resolution 07-25 regarding delinquent sewer charges.
· Updated delinquent list showed a $3,000 reduction due to last-minute payments.
· Penalties and interest apply to unpaid balances; payment notices were issued.
· Most delinquent cases are repeat offenders; some accounts are on payment plans.
· One formal protest still under review.
· Issues with parcel/address accuracy noted; recommended to cross-reference with county records.
Councilmember Aleida Suarez motioned to approve. Councilmember Pamela Bulahan seconded the motion.
