Commonly known as the Cal Fire 50-50 Grant, this program has consistently awarded Fire Districts in Plumas County for many years, including the Beckwourth Fire District. The grant award requires a matching amount from the awarded District. For this year, Cal Fire will match up to $19,965 for a total purchase of $39,930. The Fire District purchases the approved items and provides proof to Cal Fire, which refunds an amount not to exceed $19,965.
