Review of 25/26 (Current Budget)
Treasurer McLaughlin reviewed current budget, including revenue, expenses and the reserve fund. Documents attached.
Review of new proposed positions: Administrative Assistant (Wildland) & Seasonal Firefighter
Chief Rosevear reviewed the position proposals and funding sources. This item will be on the February 4 regular board meeting agenda for consideration.
Discussion and Direction- Prop 4 Spending Limit Calculation
Discussion of item which will be on the February 4th agenda for adoption.
Discussion and Determination- Additional Financial Policies Needed
Discussion of what policies are in place and what might be needed. See attached document with a list of what is in place and what is needed. A donation policy and claims against the District policy will be on the board agenda, as soon as possible.
Grant Review
Treasurer McLaughlin reviewed current grants, applications submitted and pending grants the District will apply for. Upcoming grants are FEMA AFG and SAFER. Recent application made to Firehouse Subs for vehicle accident equipment. Approved grant from Cal Fire 50/50 program is pending with equipment purchasing in the Spring.
