The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chair Becky Schwenger.

Discussion and Possible Action Including Election of the Chair and Vice-Chair for the 2025 Calendar Year
Nominate Member Schwenger as Chair, Member Pratt as Vice-Chair, and Member Pearson as Secretary.
Recorder Atlas Pearson motioned to approve. Vice Chair Austin Pratt seconded the motion.
The motion passed with the following vote:

Discussion and Possible Action Including Adoption of the Meeting Calendar for 2025
Adoption of the 2025 Calendar setting the regular meeting dates as the second Monday each month, with a modification to change the October Meeting date to the first Monday in October.
Chair Becky Schwenger motioned to approve. Vice Chair Austin Pratt seconded the motion.

Acceptance of an Update from Lars Ewing, Public Services Director, Regarding Lucerne
Harbor Dredging
Presenters: Lars Ewing, Public Services Director.
Public Comment: Julia; Darnell; Dan; and Carrie.
Harbor has been dredged, cost was about $270,000. About $120,000 left in funding, County looking into installing transient boat docks.

Request to add cleaning up swim area in alpine park, removing debris from shoreline areas, bridge repair on foothill, and navigation buoys to a future meeting agenda.
Question regarding whether or not the County has considered blocking off dixie trail in an effort to reduce erosion.
Point raised regarding lack of addressing those who choose to park on curbs rather than on the street, and dumped cars in Lucerne. Seeking follow-up on universal trash pickup question raised to Supervisor Crandell previously.

Announcements
Margo announced that the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center hosts a free Ukulele and Guitar class for people 60 years old and up; and that at 3PM on Thursday, February 13th, 2025, at the Lake County Courthouse there will be a Meeting regarding the Lake County General Plan Update (LakeCounty2050).
