Greenville Park Renovation Plan and Budget

Attached is a scope of work compiled with input from Greenville Little League, IVRPD, and IVCSD. The purpose of this item is to get Board approval for the scope and project budget. The proposed project budget is for a maximum of $749,000. Staff recommends that the Board approves that budget with the stipulation that besides IVCSD's contribution, the maximum amount that can be spent is limited to outside grants/contributions that can be raised for the project. For example, if IVCSD's contribution plus all outside contributions/grants equals $500,000, then the project scope will be reduced and only that amount will be spent.Currently, the following contributions have been pledged:$100,000 - Greenville Little League$200,000 - Indian Valley Recreation and Parks DistrictIt is recommended that IVCSD contribute $100,000 to the project, for a total current funding level of $400,000. In addition, Greenville Rotary has committed to contributing labor to the project. Staff intends to apply for grants from the Dixie Fire Collaborative and North Valley Community Foundation to supplement the already-identified funding.
