Second Reading and possible adoption: Ordinance 2025-02- An Ordinance establishing and implementing a program allowing Beckwourth Peak Fire Protection District to charge fees for emergency and non-emergency services by the Beckwourth Peak Fire Protection District.

The Board will consider waiving the second reading and move to conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of a cost recovery ordinance for extraordinary emergency incidents, fire permits and new construction plan review. A policy will be created regarding the implementation of the Ordinance.  This ordinance is not intended or designed be applied to residents or business owners of the District.  Exceptions to cost recovery are gross negligence or criminal acts, which create undue and unbudgeted cost and expense to the Fire District, or fire prevention, special event and plan check fees.Staff Report Attached
