Approve Proposal from Arcadis to Engage Funding Services for EPA Community Change Grant

IVCSD in collaboration with IVRPD, the Dixie Fire Collaborative, Plumas County, and other partners, has been notified of a funding opportunity that could provide up to $20,000,000 to design/construct a civic/recreation center in Greenville. IVCSD informally interviewed two grant writing firms who each have experience with this particular program (EPA Community Change grant). This item would approve spending up to $38,000 for the grant writing (funding) services. It's anticipated that at least half the cost of these services will be covered by contributions from partner organizations, meaning the net cost to IVCSD is anticipated to not exceed $19,000. The grant application is due in November.
