Public Comments
This is an opportunity for the public to speak to the Council on any item other than those listed on this Agenda. Speakers are requested to use the podium in front of the Council and to begin by stating their name. Please note that California law prohibits the City Council from taking action on any matter which is not on the posted agenda, unless it is determined to be an urgency item by the City Council. Any member of the public wishing to address the City Council during “PUBLIC COMMENT” shall first secure permission of the presiding officer, stand; may give his/her name and address to the Clerk for the record. Each person addressing the City Council shall be limited to three minutes. In the event comments are related to an item scheduled on the Agenda, speakers will be asked to wait to make their comments until that item is being considered, and will be limited to three minutes.

Modify Park Ordinance / Proposed Dog and Skatepark Ordinance
Accept introduction and waive first reading on proposed financial ordinance entitled "An Ordinance of the City of Isleton Enacting Sections 8.04.040, 8.04.050, and 8.04.060 of the Isleton Municipal Code Adopting Dog Parks, Skateparks, and Hours of Operation and Regulations Within the City of Isleton, and Amending Section 8.04.030 of the Isleton Municipal Code, and Re-numbering Section 8.04.040 as Section 8.04.070 and Section 8.04.080" with continuance to next regular meeting for its adoption.
Provide feedback and direction to staff on potential amendments, if desired.

Modify Check Signing Policy / Potential Adoption of Financial Ordinance
Waive further reading and adopt Ordinance No. 2025-01,entitled"An ordinance of the City council of the City of Isleton Rescinding and Amending Sections of the City's Municipal Code Relating to Purchasing Policy Procedures and Authorizing the Adoption of a City Purchasing and Contracting Policy Manual by Resolution" by title only.
The proposed ordinance was introduced and the first reading was waived at the March 25, 2025 regular meeting. Council will consider adoption of the ordinance, and provide direction to staff on potential amendments, if desired. Further review and discussion of potential purchasing and contracting policy manual.
