The board cannot take action on comments regarding non-agenda items. We do, however, value public input and will consider comments for future action. Comments on non-agenda items are not accepted at special meetings.

Public Comment: Agenda Items

The chairperson or presiding officer shall have the exclusive authority to recognize speakers from the public during the point of discussion and before action is taken for each agenda item within the agenda. Although there is no time limit, comments are respectfully requested to be within 3 minutes per speaker per agenda item.

Lease agreement is for two years at a time. Would IVCSD like to keep Suite #5 or down size to only Suite #1 to help save on District spending. (July 1,2023 to June 30, 2025 lease to review only) Jean Johns would also like to raise the rent $100 more. $1,750 would be the total for Suite #1 and #5. New lease agreement would include Suite #1 and #5 if IVCSD board would like to keep both Suites.
Approval to Excavate On Private Property Form

Fire Truck Repairs #7651

Heavy Rescue Truck #7651 based in Greenville’s temporary station is having mechanical issues. It is a 2001 International. It will be going down the road and for an inexplicable reason it just quits. After awhile it will start again.

At a recent meeting we were inspecting the truck and the PTO started to make a grinding noise. This needs to be repaired ASAP before there is further issues.

#7651 needs to go to Skip Partlow’s Diesel Repairs in Quincy to be inspected and repaired. Also request authorization for oil change and lubrication service. Sam Brown has taken a look at it but does not have the sophisticated diagnostic equipment to fully investigate the problem.
Repair second Heating Unit in Temporary Greenville Station
Discussion Possible Action
Repair second heating unit in temporary Greenville Station or Install backup propane heater for fire trucks. When it freezes the water in the trucks could also freeze and cost the fire department a lot of money to fix. Fire department would like to get quotes.
